Check out the Braves lineup. I count six .300 hitters. What? The Braves just got Mark Teixeira from the Rangers? Boy Howdy.
 
Yep, the rangers got rid of Gagne and Lofton too. Boy, they sure are screwing up.
 
I like that the Braves got TEX. he is good. My wife really likes Chipper. Wish I had time to catch a full game. I got to see them play the Rangers a couple of years ago. Andrew jones hit two homers that game.

Lofton - Old, no use for the Rangers anymore.

Gagne - Coming into form, but not the pitcher he used to be. Although he will be pursued during the offseason as a free agent

Teixeira - couldn't be happier he's out of a ranger's uniform. he was a complainer that everyone had to watch what they said around.

They got a lot of good prospects out of the trades, and that should do some good things for the depth in their farm system. and they could even get one of those guys back.


I agree, the Braves do look good. I think Tex will be a nice addition to that line-up and solidify the first base position for the braves which had been a pretty poor position for them.
