Father in law has a couple as well and they too are loaded....pretty good snacking too.

We must have all male trees. Have a bunch of them and they are huge. Never have had a berry on them.

The wife was with me, both of us a picking berries like a couple of kids.

But the branches are breaking on the wild plum trees because they're so loaded

I have several scattered around the farm and I can't pick em as fast as I can eat em
they aren't quite ready here yet but give em another week and I bet I will be fighting the birds for them

Probably 10 more days before they are ripe here. Look at them every day as I check the cows. Need to check the wild plums.

Mulberries are easily propegated from cuttings, When Iwas about 6 I used some pruned mulberry sticks for my runner beans, about half of them rooted! The problem is when the birds move in and "decorate" vehicles, clothes on the dryer and the house roof in varying shades of purple. They make a nice jam (jelly) and I have brewed wine from them a few times as well.

Get your scatter gun and get a good mess of squirrels, they love em .
