That's scary. Even the local conservation officers around here have started to wear bullet proof vests. The world is changing.

This is the second in 1 month, Const. Christopher John Worden, 30, of Ottawa was shot to death while responding to a call for police assistance in the town of Hay River, N.W.T. Saturday Oct. 6, 2007 .
Very sad indeed we are still mourning for the four fallen Mounted Police that were murdered near Mayerthorpe.

RCMP in Nunavut have charged a 37-year-old man from Kimmirut in the death of Const. Douglas Scott, while plans are underway for a regimental funeral scheduled for Nov. 13 in Scott's hometown of Brockville, Ont.
