Corn ethanol's upside
As much as dairymen and other livestock producers grumble about corn-based ethanol, and what it is doing to feed prices, here are some points to consider from Tom Dorr, U.S. Under Secretary of Agriculture for Rural Development:
Corn prices are being driven higher by other things besides ethanol. For instance, higher standards of living in many foreign countries are pushing up export demand for corn, as well as dairy and meat products. "The stark reality is, we are re-adjusting the price of corn upwards," Dorr told editors from Vance Publishing Corp., parent company of Dairy Herd Management, on Tuesday.
Ethanol development has encouraged entrepreneurs to explore other energy sources, such as wind energy and cellulosic ethanol. Dorr says some of the first demonstration plants for cellulosic ethanol will come on line no later than the end of 2010, and if they are successful there may be a "very rapid buildup of cellulosic ethanol."

Dun it looks to me like the artical is on the money on a lot of points and will not be against what he has said.

Neither am I!

But that doesn;t make any difference to some

Rather funny dun that the ones that do personal attacks can't take jokes.
By the way I was eating an apple turnover with my morning coffee. Would rather inhale crumbs then spit coffe on my screen.

As always this person is off the subject and just out to do their attacks, again.
