Everyone knows what breed the first cow is.

Guess what breeds the second cow is.

The pic doesn't show it, but she is BIG. That's a week old calf she's got, but still she will go over 1600.
That's even to big for me, but she's one of my favorites. And she does raise a heck of a calf. :D :D

I bought her Grandmother at a small retirement sale. A off white cow looked to be at least half Charolais? Bred her to a pure bred Gelbvieh. That resulting heifer calf is the mother of this cow, then bred to a registered Charolais bull to get this Guernsey colored cow.
So I think too, maybe some Simm or Shorthorn in the background, or possibly Longhorn or Red Holstein? Anyway, she is a mellow, easy keeping heck of a cow. :D :D

Oh yeah, This is her 5th calf. Always bred Charolais, her other 4 calves [all nice] were white as snow. 8)

She's a good looking cow. The reason I said Longhorn is that my dad has a red and white paint good sized polled heifer that is the result of a cross bred bull calf that they got from me. He was half Longhorn out of a Beefmaster/Beefalo cross on the top side and a Charolais cross (Hereford) on the dam's side. She's a really nice paint, polled and will make a good brood cow, he'll breed her back to Angus.
