Playoff, 32 teams. Or 64 if it suits you.
Win or go home.
Billions in TV money and a true champion. I like that idea. I would watch that. I haven't watched a single bowl game (including my alma-mater) and I won't watch any unless I am extremely bored. Bowl games are a reward for having enough cash to schedule 4 home wins by buying directional teams. Win 2 more and you are 'bowl eligible". It is no more interesting than "Survivor".
College Football was a great game. An interesting game. Once upon a time.
Now they just pretend.
