15 month old Charolais Bull 1st day on the job.

Don't pull no punches, what do you think?

Some Charolais cross calves 1st day on grass.

Good looking bull, like the length. Looks like he is ready to go to work for ya. Hope he does a good job. Don't see much of anything I'd really change about him.

Cows and calves look good, too.

Pretty small bull. Small head, a little lacking in the front, decent depth and spring of rib, kinda small in the rear. Looks like he has a small scrotal circumference as well. Mediocre bull at best. Alot better than some of the bulls whos pics have graced (shamed) these pages but you could do alot better.

He is 15 months old.

Mnmtranching, he'd be welcome in my commercial herd anyday.

as TTCLM said...he looks like a pretty small bull...but if he's 15 months then he still has a long time to fill out better...maybe as he gets older he'll fill out some of his weaker spots...good luck with him

Good enough kind of stock bull, looks as if he's got lots of jam on him and he is made well enough.

Head looks in good proportion to his body to me. A big headed animal at that age is a problem. Nice thick bull neck on him. Looks like he's about the same height as the mature cows around him, so he's got plenty of growth. I'm not sure how someone can say he's got small testicles from that picture, how can you eyeball a difference of maybe 5 centimeters circumference in a picture?
I like the looks of him, and he looks good to go to work.

TTCLM, This little guy weighed 1540 lbs at 1 yr. When we semen tested him at 14 months he was 1780 pounds. Take a look.

He is a nice bull in his working clothes. That is what a bull should look like in his working closes. He may look to small, but he is running with cows, so he is going to lose some weight. :cboy:

He's plenty big enough for a 15 month old bull.

Did you read any of this before you posted? This bull is not small...look at his weights. He is not in his work clothes....he is a big stout 15 month old bull that was just put in with the cows. It says first day on the job above his picture.

Ok, calves are my thing...and those are beautiful...stout, hearty, and have good attitude written all over them...which to me, is a good thing.

Bull looks good, I only hope you got 1600 lb. cows.....otherwise I would worry that this bull might get too big. If that guy weighs that much at 15 months old, you may be looking at a 2500lb. bull when he is mature.

Fine looking bull. There is nothing wrong with him that I can see. If you need a place to winter him where it's mild, you let me know. :cboy:
