You can take Lot 10 Breanna off your wish list.

Friday morning 11:45 am the bred heifer Breanna due May 4th escaped the state fair grounds.
12:30 St Paul Police shot her after they were unable to corral her with police cars.
Twin Cities news report at first said a bull had charged an officer and later changed it to escaped cow shot.
(There goes British White's reputation as gentle cattle.)
It was also reported the meat will be donated to a local food shelf.

Butch, I thought it was two animals that escaped from the fairgrounds. They were too extremely closer to the busiest highways.

Multiple major mistakes had to been made to reach the end result.
The consignor was from Wisconsin (aka Flori-duh north) so you know right off the bat can't be the brightest bulb on the tree.
(Says the Minnesotan)
They consigned 2 bred heifers. Would not be surprised that both got away, but the fairgrounds are over 300 acres and maybe only one escaped off the grounds. There are major highways a couple of miles away in 3 of the 4 directions from the
fairgrounds. It's bad publicity when a cattleman can't maintain control of their animals. Anything I add is just speculation.

Does anyone have sale results or prices?

Wow! I didn't hear about that from anyone that was at the show!

Show results are posted somewhere, but have not seen sale results yet. But I'm asking friends that were at show/sale what the heck the deal is with "shot cow."

That heifer should just stay home. She was being so aggressive. But I'm glad they shot her before she is entering the busiest highway (unfortunately she was in same direction towards to the highways). The police tried to tranquilize her but it didn't work and she continued to attack the police cars.

I don't know the folks that owned that heifer, but talked to friends that were there (I don't know if you were there, Son of Butch). They said she got loose as she was being off-loaded from the trailer, then groundskeepers got involved in the chase and ran her off the grounds. ALSO she charged one of the youth trying to help catch her and did some damage to another one. So, no, she never should have been there.

Watched the video from the helicopter of the "chase". The part I could watch didn't look too impossible to me. http://www.fox9.com/news/34020358-story

In my experience you get any cow, even a dead tame milk cow, get her scared and disoriented and have her run around by people with zero animal experience and it always ends badly for the cow.
