Kinda early for the whites to be spawning isn't it?
We used to massacre 'em in April out at Twin Buttes Reservoir for about 2 1/2 weeks and they were hard to find before and after that...went into deep water right after the spawn.

We used to massacre 'em in April out at Twin Buttes Reservoir for about 2 1/2 weeks and they were hard to find before and after that...went into deep water right after the spawn.

Depends on the year, I have seen it in full spawn around MLK and still going on some years as late as May. Temp and water clarity are the big factors. Fish below the dam are always a month to 2 months later than fish above
