Wondering how you feed minerals to your horses on pasture? And what type? Also if they share a pasture with cows will cows minersal such as a nutrena mineral aimed at cows on fescue hurt them or will they eat it out of mineral feeder?

I keep a trace mineral block out for the horses, and a bucket of loose minerals out for the cows. None of them eat the loose minerals (either cows or horses!), but all like the trace mineral blocks!

Just use any good horse mineral in your horse pasture or horse traps..dont run em with cattle
