I've been doing a lot of research on minerals, trying to get my cattle on the right stuff so they can perform at a maximum level, while being cost effective. I have looked into multiple different minerals trying to find the right one for my area, but at a good price. I know folks have had great success with Vitaferm Concept-aide, but at the 37.95 price tag, that seemed to be a bit hard to swallow. I have come across this mineral from the TN Farmers Co-op: http://www.augustacoop.com/catalog/PdfV ... px?el=5997

It seems to be a truly chelated mineral with appropriate amounts of all the microminerals, at least. The only things I would like to see are a little better Ca:phos ratio. They make an "Ultimate Mineral" which seems to have a little better ratio: http://www.ourcoop.com/productcatalog/M ... x?el=58327

At $20-$22/bag this seems like a pretty reasonable price. Thoughts on this mineral? I have looked into several other minerals...Purina Wind and Rain 7 with Availa-4 (unsure of price on this one), Sweetlix Copperhead, etc.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Price is right and the mineral is ok. Don't worry too much about the 4% phos. level. Most times we overfeed phosphorus anyway. Try it and check to ensure consumption is adequate. Should be fine.
