I saw something today hard to believe.
Now I do know these buzzards will attack a cow when she's calving because I've dealt with it.
But this morning while cubing cattle I saw a flock of turkeys feeding on my wheat field when all of a suddon
about 4 of these buzzards swooped down and all piled on this one turkey.
Before it was over with there we're about 20 or 30 buzzards in the bunch and 2 turkeys down.

Cal, I woke up to about 20 of em surrounding a heifer and her newborn calf. I dispatched 2 of em. The calf had already been licked off but they were after it anyway.

They are very destructive birds. There was a piece on the news the other day about them sitting on cars and picking off the paint and weatherstripping off of the roof.
 
Contrary to what some say they are a very agressive bird.
I have to pretty well pull guard duty every calving season. :mad:

The black headed (Mexican) vultures are aggressive. They work in a gang. That is why they are running off the Turkey Vultures. I remember that Turkey vultures were the only type that I would see. Now it is only the Mexican.
