Actually, the franking privilege is supposed to be used for official government business, not for the politician's personal business. If they want to send CHRISTMAS cards, I doubt there'd be a problem if the postage is coming out of their own pockets. So, I see no problem with that particular ruling.
That being said, the "political correct" crap here in the U. S. is totally out of hand, and we have got to get over it. Time to start calling a spade a spade. Seems that the only ones that have any political freedoms or protections nowadays are the muslims, blacks, and queers.
BTW, have any of you tried to communicate with your elected representatives lately? Lotsa luck with that........... . You would almost think that they don't care what the taxpayers think or want.
