Okay I know this is a cattle board, but anyone know cooking or processing methods for meat from a Ram? Doing a Texas Dall Ram hunt a little later, and curious about different methods for prep. or cooking.

Shoot it...cape it out.....leave the meat to "whoever or whatever". Go buy a good steak. ;-)

Excuse me a little here. I didn't notice you said Texas.

Find the nearest Mexican and ask them for their Birria'(Barbacoa) recipe. That process will make almost anything edible, even great.
