Any tips on good mixes to go with meadow brome on a sandy loam pasture? The NPK and PH are good.

Is this an established pasture or are you planting a new one?

It is a new pasture. It was rough and mostly quack grass, so I put it in corn one year and now need to reseed it.

The traditional hay grasses around here are timothy and smooth brome -- but I am looking at meadow brome and meadow fescue for better summer grazing.

Have you tried Orchardgrass with white clover? If you do decided to go with meadow brome I would add white clover for better summer production. check out http://www.welterseed.com
