Mature Cow Weight

What time of year would you expect a mature cow to be at her heaviest? Fall? Spring prior to calving?

Thanks dun. I probably would have guessed but wasn't positive. We weighed our cows when we preg checked in November and again this last weekend when we wormed and were pleasantly surprise that most gained around 1/2lb per day on a limited silage/ground hay ration. Some of our younger cows (coming 3rd calvers) put on 1 to 1.5lbs per day.
