My brother has a massey 231s he bought new in 2001. When he turns off the key it does not shut down. It does not have a pull knob shut down just the key. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

There is a solenoid on the injector pump that is most likely stuck. When you turn the key on it sends voltage to the solenoid to open and let fuel into the pump, turn the key off it returns to a closed position. Try turning the key off and lightly tapping on the injector pump to see if that shuts it off.
