Marshall Ryegrass

Anybody out there used it, and feel its worth the extra money per bag. Locally Gulf ryegrass is $19-$22 a bag and Marshall is $29 a bag.

Local feed store gave about the same price difference, too. Don't have experience with the two varieties but ran across an article that may help.

I ask that same question to Dr. Don Ball several years ago. His answer was that the improves rye grasses such as Marshal are well worth the extra seed cost.
