This morning this buck was working over this elderberry bush in our yard to mark his territory. He did it for about a minute then his girl friend wandered off so he he had to leave to follow her. Good luck claiming the territory. About 15 minutes later a different buck about the same size was in the yard. There is 6 bucks about that same size here on a daily basis. Size wise this one is in the middle.
The wife said she tried to kill that elderberry bush but gave up and decided that she just had to live with it. I told her the buck is trying to help her.
