I found the Marky to be very easy calving(used on cows & hef's). Calves are very quick to get up & going, start muscling up at two-three weeks of age.From what I saw at the White Moosh Ranch croossbred cows seem milk very well with very good udders.I found the info on Marchigiana.org to be true to what I experienced. The biggest downfall I found with the Marky was the 1/2 blood calves look to heavy in the front end come market time in the fall(to much leather for the buyers).
