this is my new market lamb, gulliver.
he weighs 115.
i know these arent the best of pictures but what do you guys think of him?
i havent had a lamb in 2 years so any advice on how to prepare him for
show would be greatly appreciated thank you<33

Elevate his feeder and run him daily. Lots and lots of running. My kids have shown lambs. They are a lot of work, and it is rewarding when they do well at the show.

We had an trimming stand that the kids used to teach to lamb to push when showing. Stand on the stand with the lamb and push it backwards so that it will step off. The lamb will learn that it will fall when you push and it will push back. The lesson will transfer to the show ring.

What breed/s is he? I used to show stud sheep. Borders and Shropys. I helped out with Poll dorsets too.

we only show our market animals at our local show, we show them
then sell 'em.

im not sure he's open game if anyone would like to throw some breeds out there.
we buy our lambs through the school, so no papers or anything for them.
