Aaah if only I had pics of some of the places I have loaded them! Had a guy tell me he had a pen built. Pulled in to two pieces of non electrified tape fence on step in posts. Actually did get both his steers loaded with some minor improvising and a lot of luck.

I had a guy want me to haul a couple of pair from a hilltop in Arkansas, and there wasn't a fence in sight. All the fences were down in a hollow. So I pulled the trailer to the center where there was a tree to prop the door open at a ninety instead of all the way open and we went to chasing cows until they were so exhausted that they went into the trailer.
I told him I'd pay him the price he expected to get at the sale barn for them... less what I was going to charge him for hauling them and he agreed. That way we'd save the commission. And then later on I found out he thought I was cheating him because I charged the hauling fee after chasing his cows around for half the morning.

I try to periodically bump it up. If you look at What's New, it shows all the recent threads. I could post the contest & subsequent poll in the coffee shop. If I remember.
I'm going to try to do better and help too.
Me also. I loaded 8 little yearlings from this last spring.
