Making hamburger better

Does anyone know how to make lean hamburger better by adding tomato juice ( and maybe something else???) when the butcher grinds and wraps it?
 
Better as in flavor only?
Do you still have to retain the lean quality?
-Add a bit off ground pork or pork sausage if you are not worried about the "lean factor".
 
For us, our ground beef tastes good..."Longhorn beef"...actually has a flavor ;-)

That aside, for variety we will use any of following when cooking:

  • 1. Teriyaki Sauce
    2. Lemon Pepper
    3. BBQ Sauce
    4. Mix diced green peppers & onions with beef before cooking
    5. Onion gravy mix

To make hamberger better just wait till the critter is 4-5 years old before butchering. If you like the flavor of beef you'll love the burger
