Have you ever watched ''brain games'' on tv? If not you should check it out. There are certain things our brain is pre programed to do that you can not intentionally over come. A lot of it is in the area of vision and the brain taking short cuts. They had one episode that did show how illusionist used this to there advantage and it was imposable for the brain to catch the trick in real time.
