lump under the belly?

I have a 2 week old angus female bottle calf and it seems very healthy, bu it has a lump under its belly. What does it mean? is it navel ill? how do i treat it? is it to late to treat it?

Feel of it and see if it's soft or hard or if it will poke back inside her belly. Depending on the lump it may just be that she has a large navel.
Temperature?
Until she's dieing it's never too late to treat them.

It could be as simple as an abscess.
