Love Deer Season

Why u ask, cause I have the bay all to my self. Will try to get a pic up of these speckled trout, but they all but 1 were 24 inches or longer. I had even more fish that were larger but your only allowed one over 25". You fellas keep on staying in those deer stands!!!

Get them waders on and join me on the north end of Jacks , and I know you know what bay I am talking about. Those suckers are stacked in there, getting em on bone colored topwaters. It was outa this world. I cant make it back till Sunday, but me and my little john boat will be heading that way.

I quit chaseing ducks many moons ago paleface with the exception of Woodies.
There is something just not right about the absolute worst day of the year being the best to duck hunt.
When they went to the point system was when I quit just wasn't worth it to put out a 100 decoy spread for two ducks.

I know it is the same on deer. Sometimes I am convinced the fish and game people are a bunch of Ooheee Bird's
They fly in circles and when their head goes up their ass they holler Ooheee it's dark in here.

Here's our limit's
DUCK DAILY BAG LIMIT:
The daily bag limit shall be 6 ducks, to include no more than the following:

•5 mallards (only 2 of which may be hens)
•3 wood ducks
•2 scaup (lesser scaup and greater scaup in the aggregate)
•2 redheads
•2 pintails
•1 canvasback
•1 dusky duck (mottled duck, Mexican-like duck, black duck and their hybrids are closed the first five days of the season in each zone)
•All other species: 6
MERGANSER DAILY BAG LIMIT:
Five in the aggregate, to include no more than 2 hooded mergansers.
COOT DAILY BAG LIMIT:
15 birds
