Based on return to heats and his continued shopping for some action, looks like he settled 15 cows between the beginning of may and the beginning of june. Not bad for a pasture developed yearling bull born in february and on nothing but fescue/clover pasture during breeding season..


 
looks pretty good for a yearling. you say nothing but fescue/clover during breeding season but what did he get before that?

Fescue and WSG hay with about a pound of grain a day for 3-4 months.
 
I like him, and his parental units too!

My bulls have been calm too, 2nd cycle started a week ago and there's been nothing happening
