Looking for stock

Anybody know if anyone is selling Hereford or Beefmaster gals around San Antonio,Texas area ? I was told to stay away from auctions because that is where people dump thier inferior stock to sell. I dont know enougth about cattle to pick out the bad/good ones.

Call the Amer. Hereford Association. They will be glad to help you locate some. Also try Herfnet at: http://herfnet.biz/tailored.aspx They usually have several lots of commercial hereford females available. You may find some from Texas there.
