I have a good friend that is looking for 2 show steers for our local county fair. They need to me March or April born calves.

We are located in Pensacola, FL but for the right calf could get it picked up from anywhere. Our show is the last week of October and I want one that will finish out 1225 to 1250 pounds. I do not want a 1,000lb calf that I see a lot these days.

You might want to check Breeders World. They are having a lot of online sales right now. I don't know if that is something you are interested in but I have seen a lot of nice steers on there. Personally I haven't bought anything from an online sale but I know some who have. But if you don't mind buying one out of state it might be an option.

I perfer to buy private treaty if I can. I'm looking for 7 steers. My dad is making a trip to Indiana in the next few months so I'm gonna try to find some farms near his route to see if I can get some bought. Been looking for steers closer to home with no luck.
