I was just sitting looking back at the year now that my year for showing is over. Thinking about the good times and the bad time, about all the wins i got and how the old say stays true "The Harder You Work The Better You Do.Then I looked back at the animals I had and the role they played to get me those wins, and the future I will have with them. Then I look at me and see that what a man I grow in to working the hardest I ever worked knowing that this was my last year for 4-H and Jr. shows. Then I think of all the calves I can sell to future 4-H and the wisdom I can give them. The past ten years of showing have been the best years of my life but I know that this is only the beginning of it all .I think God for all the good times I had the cattle he aloud me to raise and the people I met and I hope when I get to heaven I can do it all over.

Thank You

gosh you just brought me to tears.
What a great heart felt post, I hope you get the chance to help younger kids this year with their projects. Its not all hands on but just as rewarding to see them grow from your knowledge. Good luck with the future, hope all your dreams come true.
By the way I'm still crying, family just came in to read the post I am all teared up over.

thanks i am trying to get my sim. herd in shape to raise some good show steers.
I also have little sitter who I will be helping show and it looks like it is going to be a big job.

I'm speaking as a parent raising an 11 year old grandson, so this is the second time around for us.
Sim.Ang.king, if I knew you in real life, I'd tell my kid to stay clear away from you. A contentious attitude is nothing I want to encourage in kids growing up. And knowing you like to stir the pot, the post you made to start this thread sounds dishonest. Being dishonest is worse than being contentious.
I suspect you have just finished high school, and you think you are done with your education. I think you haven't even begun your education.
