Longhorn question

OK, for all you folks in the know...I was considering what to do with a couple of one year old Longhorn Steers. While looking at a processing plant there was an option to keep your head/horns, hide, and/or cape. I think I know the answer to this but for my own curiosity what is the difference between the hide, and the cape. Is the cape in front of the front legs? Dumb inquiring minds would like to know!! :?: Thanks in advance for your answer.

I believe the cape is the head and neck with hide attached.

The hide would be just from the neck back, excluding the head.

Ok, thanks...I was thinking it was the head and hide forward of the front legs, but was not sure...appreciate it.
