This is a heifer that just turned a year old June 20. She's out of a son of Levi6 and a grand daughter of Tabasco. She's got a little bit of color and horn. Comments?

Well since she's got the same birthday as me she has to be pretty! :D
Seriously, that's a real nice heifer you got there- pretty colours! (Would be better if it was red and white tho :P )

how do you get them in the crush with there horns going everywhere. are they hard to work with in the yards?.

I love the color, especially the "lacy-face" and the horns are looking good... eventhough she's barely a year old, she has a youthful and feminine look to her. I'd like to see a profile shot, if ya have one.

Is her sire your bull that looks like tan, or a dun color?

Here's another shot of her. Probably not the best but....Her sire is the Levi6 son that's on our web site. He looks dirty white from a distance but up close he is a dun and white roan. He throws that roan and speckled pattern on most of his calves. Gets that from his grand sire Roundup.

I like her. She looks like she will be a fine replacement female. Just being picky, I might like to increase her depth throughout, and maybe level up her hooks to pins a bit. But overall she's a nice, solid female, with a very striking color pattern and excellent horn deveopement (i dont think they could be any flatter or straighter).

Nice heifer.

Love the heifer's color!! Nice horn potential & body. She'd be real nice mating to our "Roundup's Blue Spock" (pearl grulla/blue roan) who has 50" TTT and 60" Total horn at 29 months (was 2nd in his class at 2005 TLBAA Horn Showcase for total horn).

Can see "Spock's" latest photo on our website (as well as our up and coming junior bull, "Roundup Texan", with very nice lateral horns as a yearling.).

Thanks everyone for the comments on the heifer. I feel like she's definitely got some potential. She's out of a first calf heifer but I don't think that matters a bit. Her dam is heavy bred to my Whelming King grand son BT Heineken Dark this time so I'm anxiously awaiting what they're going to produce. I'm thinking I'll breed her back to the Levi6 son again for the next go around. :cboy:

She is a nice looking heifer and should go on to make a really nice brood cow for you. I hope she turns out to be a good one! :cboy:
