They look nice and you are lucky if you have friends that can help with cattle. Every time I think about getting one of my friend to help, I think it will be easier to do it by myself. No friends with cattle experience.
I see a few other white faces in there, so I assume a Hereford bull sired at least some of the calves. I occasionally get a red calf myself when using a Hereford on black Brangus cows.
That's a PB Gelford. Mamma's a black Gelbvieh red gene carrier last year she had a solid red, year before had a all black out of the same Hereford bull. B&G
