Gubmint creates these laws about hiring illegals, then gives you an umbrella to hide under. When I was running the restaurant I was told I could not inquire about a person's status if they provided a SS number and marked they were a citizen on their application. Sometime afterwards I would pay the taxes and get a letter from the gubmint stating they couldn't match the person and the SS number up. There would also be specific language in that letter stating it was not my responsibility to investigate it any farther. Never made sense to me.

They paid a fine for a half million in 2014 for the same violation. Agree on putting management in jail for a couple years since hurting their wallet didn't do anything.
