Still can't get used to the flavor.
Maybe TMI, but the worst part is how it smells so bad on the way out!!
If it wasn't state inspected I would have genuine concerns. Lol.
Lent is coming up.
I'll just keep cooking with it for penance, and tomorrow is Fat Tuesday, I'll make burgers (which aren't too bad) for people coming over that want to sample a different species.

Never thought about eating one before and after reading this sure as heck wont I always thought the meat would be like horse or donkey neither is very good
