If there are twenty cows in a field and there is a hole in the fence how many cows are still in the field?

None.

Little Johnnie and the teacher are both wrong. If there are 20 cows in a field and there is a hole in the fence there are still 20 cows in the field. Nothing was said about any cows getting out or other cows getting in.

No....I think that Johnnie was right....especially if there was a milk cow or a pet in the herd..they for sure lead the entire herd outta there as soon as the fence is down or the gate is opened and left unsupervised... :D

Westie....that signature could sure give a young fella the willies!

I'm sure that we're dealing with highly trained cattle that respect all fences and don't even bother to notice a hole in
the fence. Perhaps the grass isn't greener on the other side and they are content to stay at home. Wonder if a EPD will develop for that trait.

can anybody get along and not argue on here? still Johnnie is right cause he would know more about the cattle and arithmetic to know the answer. any farmer knows how add, subtract, multiply and divide. thats all the math i need.
