I had always thought that Nitrogen was the only fertilizer you put down in liquid form. Another farmer was telling me that they can spray a N-P-K complete fert. Do you guys have any experience with this? Does it work as good last as long as granular? Looking to do about 50-60 ac. and spray is usually cheaper so just looking for some input. Thanks!

This is coming what my friend who works at Ouachita Fertilizer here in south LA has always told me. Everything goes to a liquid, however liquid is more corrosive. What he means by that is spraying a liquid fertilizer will get onto your metal posts and such. That will corrode them faster. Granuals will bounce off and fall on the ground.

I spread everything granular simply because spreaders are easier and cheaper than sprayers. That is with having access to Ouachita.
