Liquid Feeder problem

Have never used liquid feed before. There's an empty liquid feeder on our lease that was there when we obtained it several years ago. I brought it home and rinsed it out and found a split at the seam. Is there a way to repair it? Silicone? Some kind of tape? Thanks in advance.

Plastic? Metal? Pictures?

I'm assuming it's plastic. JB weld or some thing like that might work.

The problem is liquid feed is very heavy. Want to say it's around #13 per gallon. Not sure you could get enough tie in on both sides to not break out again when it flexes with the weight.

If it does and you lose the liquid feed it will have cost you way more than just buying a new feeder. Last ones we bought were less than $500.

I wouldn't trust the repair. If you want to go cheap, fill a tote that you can move on forks or a trailer and use open troughs.
