I am freely open to any comments on this calf. Here are the facts:
Sire is Top Hand 16860273
Dam is a Flying B Cut Above Daughter and PB Sim
Born on 3/20/14 so 140 days old.
I am going to guess 450 to 500 pounds.

Looks heavier than that to me. He's off to a good start Ron. I'll bet he weans over 700. Post another picture then and so we can tear him apart for you. ;-)

And just to think, I was there when little Linus was born. My how he has grown!

If 3-way gives him the thumbs up maybe I could buy him from you and use him next spring on some of my gals?

You sure as heck don't need my approval to buy him. If you like him buy him. I'd do it now before the price goes up!!!

Linus was born a few days before you came. The one that was born while you were there was Duchess' calf. A heifer calf sired by Casper.

I remember him though. He was a cute little bugger.

Inyati13-

If that is his dam standing behind him in the last pic, I would suggest your mating him back to her and therefore justifying the genetics as problem free, and focusing on a line bred family for a few generations. You could propagate an outstanding phenotype, if the genotype is acceptable and balanced. I just question his being "cow-hocked" slightly.
