Limping Bull

I rounded up our cows sat 5/19 to spray for flies and worm a few cows that needed another dose. One of our bulls was limping pretty bad. He was a pretty good distance from our working pens so I didn't want to take the chance of making any injury any worse. I did seperate him out away from our other bull Sunday to prevent further injury.

I don't think the leg is broken, but there is some swelling around the joint just above the hoof. He is not limping as bad as he was sat, but it is still pretty noticable. Any advice? The swelling wasn't major but you could tell it was larger than the other leg. I did get a good look at the hoof Sunday too, and there wasn't anything between the hoof.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Sure it is'nt footrot? Will swell just above the hoof some and doe'snt always show up between the toes.

Beef Man I talked to my vet and he said that there have been several cases of foot rot in the last few weeks from our weather being very wet. I gave him a good dose of LA300 and sprayed some coppertox in between and on the hoof. I hope this will help. I have some pictures of the bull and foot on my computer, but I am at work and can't post them to an website too imput them on here.
