Will it rain or not? When these little cacti flower there is usually a good chance of rain. It is sooo hot and dry here, let them be right.

Glad I could share with you We had about 10 drops of rain :cry2: but maybe somethings still going to happen.

HD - they have a slight fragrance, very subtle.

It's a small cactus reaching about 6 inches tall by 7 inches thick. It has a number of thick ribs, spines and thorns. The flowers are 4 inches across and about 8 inches long, they only last a day(or actually a morning) and then die back. I see these are getting ready to flower again.....

I love cacti, we have several potted ones, and there's prickly pears around our place, not quite as impressive a flower but still neat

This little cactus(name unknown) does not lie, it's starting to flower so it will rain within the next couple of days :banana: I hope......





Will take a pic when it is in full bloom and full of rain drops.

We got and inch of rain on Saterday and a further 1/2" yersterday. Everything has been washed clean and we can breathe again. It's not very much but I'm grateful for every drop. :banana:
