Vet said if we made it 5 days things should be pretty good to go. Well, today is day 6 and there is definately improvement on the lil' gal. Up to close to 4 pints a day (compared to the 2 we started with this is great!) and she really chugs it down and is not shy about saying "'Nough already I am FULL!"
My guess is she's definately gained a few pounds, and can see a slight difference in her girlish figure.
Coat looks SO much nicer, feels better also.
Snottiness still there but very little. No wheezing, no coughing (which wasn't an issue to begin with but something I"ve been watching for).
right eye still tearing, again not as badly. Left eye appears to be good, no tearing, not cloudy.
when I get the pics pulled off my camera I'll post some before, and current.
Today was beautiful weather so built Bella her own little kingdom outside, complete with shade and windbreak. However she will come in at dusk and be provided the luxury suite she's had all this time. I think the horses are jealous, and I know my Appy is torqued about not being the center of the world here! Anyway, she meandored around, a wee bit wobbly at times but getting stronger.
While knowing must stay realistic in that she could crash it's hard not to be excited about the improvements!
With her being so small still, when should I put calf starter/grain in front of her?
