lighting and fence charger

lighting got my fence charger last night, so looking for a new one.
what are you guys having good luck with? 120 ac have no more than 10 miles of fence.
also anyone make a lighting protector?

Stafix, Parmak, Gallagher all make good chargers and they all have lightening arrestors you can buy.

If I was to purchase a new 100V today,I'd get a ParMak SE 5,but that's me.I am beginning to think from what I read the only way to protect a charger fully is to have it unplugged from the wall and the lead out.

Where I used to work, the Gallaghers were pretty good. They had the lightning arrestors on them, however, they did work most of the time, as long they didn't take a direct hit.

Had a Parmak 12v solar that was pretty good, bought a Taylor 120 and have been very pleased
