Can anyone tell me what's causing this or what it is? The one on the left in the picture has the worst case the others just look a little thin in that spot but it's on all of them in the same spot. Is it lice or just from rubbing on something?

Thanks.

It looks like they are rubbing on a hay ring.

Correct, I don't see lice.

Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to do, as soon as I read the comment about the hay ring it clicked. It started showing up on all of them at the same time in the same spot about the time I started feeding hay.

Thanks again!

That's one of the things this site is good for.An extra set of eyes or a different idea that we can all learn from sometimes.
Sometimes it takes someone who can step back from the situation to see it clearly.
