Though I like their food very much, Chick Fil A is not my favorite place to eat. But I admire the owners/management/institution for holding strong in their beliefs. New York mayor De Blasio recently PUBLICALLY announced that New York citizens should boycott Chick Fil A due to their stance against "LGBT". I hate that acronym. But anyway, some citizens responded by flooding the local Chick Fil A.

Aside from right or wrong, the mayor is wrong for encouraging this behavior. He is a "leader" (for lack of a better term) and is therefore held to a higher standard.

Just nice to see a major company that doesn't compromise their stance or cave in under pressure. Good for the Truett family and Chick Fil A. EAT MORE CHIKEN :tiphat:

We eat there every chance we get. They have good food and the bathrooms have always been fairly clean. We ate at one south of the airport in Atlanta, the food was good but I was a nervous wreck. And I had 2 Glocks, my LCP and 41 rounds of ammo. I figured maybe I could hold out till the cops showed up. Never again will I eat there, and everything was good except my blood pressure.

Stick to your principles, and stand on the scriptures. This old world will push and shove, but they won't move ya.

I have never eaten at one because we are too rural to have one here. But I do know what they stand for and really respect that. If people don't like what they stand for just don't visit the restaurant, but that doesn't seem to be much of an issue. Maybe people are ready to stand up for what they believe in.

We don't got no chick Fil A. A lefty kind of a fellar said we was so white around here we don't even got a KFC.
We have a KFC in the next county. I must be like city folk compared to where you are. :bs:

There is no chic-fil-a near me, but I do know they have the best breakfast sandwich of any fast food. Chicken, egg and cheese on a wheat bagel. I travel a good bit for work and if I see a chic-fil-a in the morning I get one. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

I take it that your tan didn't match most of the crowd there?

I'm just a profiler, and a realist. We all look different, but when some of the different ones, look different, from the different ones, I get the heebie jeebies.

TG, IMO Atlanta is almost like I would imagine a foreign country would be to me. Different breed of monkey there. I'm about as out of place there as a one legged man in an a$$ kicking contest.

we got two chick-fil-as in our state but there both on the other side of the state and were not driving 6 hours to get a chicken sandwich

Just a bunch of city slickers. Our closest Chick-fil-A is 50 miles away, but it's on the way to the sale barn.

I might just qualify. All I gotta do is drive 20 minutes south, east or west and there's all the fast food places. Not much in between or north. Don't do Chick fil A much cause I gotta buy two to fill me up.
