Lots of us have family issues around the holidays. For some its a minor distraction. Others its like walking on pins and needles before the all out brawl starts. I remember one Christmas that was not fun at all. My Wifes Brother and his Wife were fighting. Kids were crying. I remember thinking "Thank God none of this is my fault". My Father passed before my first Daughter was born. My Mother passed the day my second Daughter was born. So I spend most Holidays with my Wife and her Family. You never knew what was going to happen at one of these family get togethers until recently. The family has calmed down quite a bit, myself included. The holidays have been fun the past couple of years. I'm lucky to have my own family to spend Christmas with. My wife and Kids are lucky to be able to spend Christmas with their Parents/Grandparents. I enjoy watching my Father in-law and Mother in-law play with the kids. They love each other so much. I would give anything to have just one Christmas with my Parents and my Daughters. I know sometimes things just have to be said. Some times things are as bad as we think they are. But, a lot of times we let the little things eat at us. I hope everyone can swat those little things aside this Christmas. Vent here on this forum and have a smile and a beer on Christmas. Merry Christmas to all!
