LED lights

Trying to be all green and stuff, but the LED lights we bought suck. Tried them on the house and wound up using the old lights. How disappointing.

I found the new wonderful screw in flourescents to be just as useless

What was it you didn't like about them? Their brightness? Remember that an LED source is about the size of a very sharp pencil point. The only way to get any light at all is to put one heII of a reflector and lens on it but when you do that it concentrates the light in ONE direction.

I agree they are really wimpy as Christmas lights.

Just not bright at all. You can hardly see them. The colors are pretty but there is no point in putting them up if you can't see them.
