Law Enforcement ID?

Today at the gas station there were two officers that got out of a vehicle. Loaded to the teeth (guns, batons, jackets, etc). Other than a US flag patch, no identification whatsoever. There vehicle had a local plate, not lights and a camera facing forward. I've been looking up different organizations (Marshals, ICE, etc) online and they all have ID on their vests as to what department they belong to, these guys didn't. They had black/dark shirts, and drab green pants. I just find it strange they had no ID on them at all.

Did you ask them what agency they were with? Or just trying to figure it out from what you saw?

That's a good thought. It just really struck me as strange b/c they had no identification on the back of their vests like all other law enforcement agencies do.
