Anyone know any cattle ranchers that produce beef for Laura's lean beef?

I'm not bashing anyone. The guys that sell bulls to them after they fail the BSE exam, aren't good enough for breeders, among other things, are happy to have an outlet. :?: :?:

How much beef do they sale each year? Are there that many bulls around that fail the BSE examine?

I have no idea how much beef Laura's sells. Wouldn't even try to guess.

About 8-10 percent of bulls fail the BSE exam. Some get by with less but I question their examiners' and methods sometimes.


I'm sure they have a calf program, but I know nothing about it, except I'm sure an affadavit has to be signed beforehand about antibiotics.

The 'BSE' they are referring to here is a Breeding Soundness Exam, not the other BSE which is Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (aka mad cow disease).

I told you I knew nothing about the calf program. All I have sold them is bulls. Let me restate this for those that are half reading.....
"I'm sure the affadavit for selling calves is the same for selling bulls, as I have not sold any calves to them and don't know anyone who has." :lol:

I dont think Mike was bashing them. He didnt have his patented vigor exhibited when bashing CAB. Nothing wrong with breeding culls going to beef brands IMO. Wouldnt cull bulls fit into LLB's program nicely.

Tncattle, Laura's sells beef that has not been implanted and has not had any antibiotics. Their beef has less fat and is presumed by some to be more healthy. This is why they prefer Limousin, Chars, Sims, and other Cont's.

By all means sell to them if you have the product they require.
