1/2 Piedmontese heifer about 70 or so lbs. Got another one due just like her any time now.

Wished I had gotten there earlier as I like to watch momma cleaning it up. This one had already been licked mostly clean and had already got her legs.

Most of the Pieds start out that way and it takes some getting used to. In about three weeks she should start getting some shape.

This girl's brother was waiting on me this morning. Probably 90/95 lbs. I believe the Hereford showed up in him.

Nice. Do you weigh you calves? I started weighing my calves this fall. I found out I was estimating about 15 pounds too light.

I'm not weighing these crosses as I have to borrow scales and they are not handy to get. All the full bloods are weighed because I want their BW's on their papers. I'm usually pretty close because I test myself whenever I do weigh. Hopefully, these calves will help me buy a nice set of Tru Test. Borrowing is a pain in the butt!
